Beltain 2009

Blessed Beltane/Beltaine/Beltain/May Day, one and all.

My Beltain in 100 words or less:
9am gorgeous cloudless blue sky, warm sunlight..
Lectures finished at
1pm = threatening to rain, cold and no sky in sight behind the clouds.
4pm, after Beltain Ritual indoors; blue sky returns and the sunlight tumbles in.

 Sods law much? =)

I also used muffins and diet coke in the stead of mead and oatcakes, because improvisation is my middle name.

How did you celebrate today?

 Makeshift alter for today:

Bells, Ribbons, Apple, Muffins, Coke, Books and Flowers.

Bells, Ribbons, Apple, Muffins, Coke, Books and Flowers.

I’ve been invited to my first open circle in Brighton tomorrow which should be fantastic. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I’ve also got a post I need to edit from Thursday’s meditation session which I’ll be putting up soon.

 Moon Bless,
~Rose.

  1. sweet drinks and baked grains for the discerning modern pagan-type. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable substitute for oakcakes to me, and more yummy!

Your impromptu altar reminds me of the one I have at work. 🙂

    Happy mayday!
